We are friends of Marnie and Asa Phillips. We live in Weston, MA and are about to embark on a similar journey. We have also met with the Simons to be inspired. Our intinerary is somewhat in the works. We plan to arrive in Bangkok on Nov 1, go from there to Bhutan, Vietnam, Cambodia,Laos on to India by Dec 22, then Australia, New Zealand, Figi...returning end Feb/early March. We have also just returned from Kenya. Our daughters are 12 and 14...we would love to "chat", exchange ideas...what did you pack that was good, not good...places you have been that are great, not great... hope to hear from you.
